Yes! We encourage group transportation and can accommodate a bus. It’s a safe, reliable, and convenient option to ensure the safety of your guests.
There are nice AirBnB’s within a 10 mile radius, and there are many hotel options in the Altoona area (20 minutes) and State College (25 minutes).
We kindly request that all tours are by appointment only. We are able to accommodate short-notice tours and are always happy to show what we offer.
To be good neighbors, we require that all music concludes by 10:00 p.m. and that all guests and the wedding party leave the premises by 11:00 p.m.
Lit candles are permitted if the flame is completely contained in a votive. Sparklers can be used outside of the barn and used sparklers must be placed in a bucket of sand (provided). Fireworks are permitted, but require a township permit and are subject to weather conditions.
Alcohol is permitted on the premises but must be served by a certified, licensed bartender. Beer, wine and liquor for mixed drinks are permitted, however, shots at the bar are not permitted.
We love when couples include their furry companions in their wedding ceremony! The bride and groom’s dog is allowed with prior approval for the wedding day only. A crate and leash must be provided and a designated person (other than the bride or groom) must be assigned to supervise your dog throughout the day.
There are a few different options we can offer if your day involves poor weather. Our facility offers a large covered porch area on the lower level of the barn, where your ceremony can still be held outdoors. There are a couple fully-indoor options for smaller groups.
Renters are required to supply liability insurance within seven days of the event date. Our insurance agent can help set this up for you.
You are not required to use any specific vendors. You may choose whichever caterer, DJ, bartender, etc. that you wish. We are able to provide a recommendation list upon request.
Yes, tables and chairs are provided for all types of events. We have seating to accommodate up to 250 guests. We offer 60” round tables and white resin folding chairs. We also have an assortment of 6’ and 8’ rectangle tables to use as needed.
We offer a generous time allotment to prepare, enjoy and clean up your special day. Wedding weekends start Thursday evening and conclude Sunday morning at 11 a.m.
